Rapid Response Worker

Job Duties:

Due to an exciting expansion, we are now recruiting to our Rapid Response Team.  Part funded by the NHS, we are embarking on a joint venture to increase our offer of support to include young people and families who present for Mental Health Assessments.  This support will ensure that families receive appropriate, joined up and timely interventions from health and social care.

The Rapid Response Team work collaboratively with families in crisis with the overall aim of reducing the likelihood of young people being accommodated and as such we are seeking dynamic individuals with the ability to “think on their feet”, manage risk and deliver creative interventions.

By joining our team, you will be part of a vital service that works on a rota basis to offer out of hours (evenings/weekends) support and as such you will need to be flexible and work some unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays, as well as some regular office based hours.

As part of ARC services, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary and trauma informed team, who will be trained to use the Attachment, Regulation and Competency model as a framework of reference to underpin interventions and support families to build resilience and self-reliance. Experience in social care and of working with children, young people and families goes without saying.  As does a Full Driving Licence due to the county wide nature of the role.

So, if you can demonstrate an absolute commitment to improving the lives of children and their families and are ready for a new challenge, then apply to join our team, where, if appointed, you will receive a full induction and specialist training to help make a difference in a challenging but rewarding environment.
