CDS is on a mission!  We champion co-op and community-led housing where people design, develop, build or manage their homes themselves. We aim to make this a mainstream option for both rent and home ownership. To that end, we are investing in people and partnerships that can help us make this market fly.

We currently support about 40 co-ops that house more than 2,200 households by providing or overseeing a variety of housing management services and back-office administration functions under instruction from our clients.  We are also a social landlord, providing housing management to our own residents living in nearly 1,000 properties.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and organised Housing Administrator to join the Housing Services team on a fixed term contract until March 2022. Based at our office in Dover Street, London, you will be responsible for providing a first class, effective and efficient administrative support to staff working remotely, doing your part to ensure our current and prospective CDS residents receive an excellent service from us. You will support the team with projects and help to identify and implement customer services improvements.

Ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, anticipate the needs of the team and work independently will drive you to be highly productive whilst working with minimal supervision. You will ensure that your uncompromising organisation and good critical thinking skills help our officers to work more efficiently.

You will be required to take pride in your work, demonstrate ability to follow directions well and take ownership and responsibility for your work.  You will ensure our IT systems accurately reflect the work done and records are properly maintained.  

You may not have specific experience in housing, but your proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and using your problem-solving skills to deliver objectives will set you up for success in this role. If you are a hard worker who is committed to customers, are a proficient computer user with ability to use Microsoft Office packages and can’t help but leave things better than you found them, we really want to hear from you.
