About the role
Right now, we're busy working with users of our online advice services and people across the organisation to make our services and information simpler, clearer and faster. To do that effectively we need someone like you to lead the team that creates and maintains high-quality, user-focused content. This role will see you develop, deliver and drive the content strategy for our digital advice basing your decisions on user needs and research. You'll manage a team of content designers and have access to a developer and user experience designer, as well as a range of digital professionals such as planners, developers, UX, and service designers as, together, you deliver high-quality multi-media content.
Someone who champions user-focused design and prides themselves on their systematic thinking, you're used to managing a multi-disciplinary team, taking responsibility for the quality of the work of others and providing constructive feedback. You have good knowledge of service design and agile processes, plus you have a good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation. What's more, you're used to leading and running workshops, have a proven ability to take complex language and processes and make them simple to understand and are able to explain your decisions clearly, based on evidence. And, when it comes to being a successful advocate for the needs of the user to inform content design, again you tick all the boxes.
