With the VSA role spanning numerous duties and tasks we are looking for someone who is able to adapt and deliver a consistent and excellent service across an array of areas.
The Museum, Gallery and Archives Service are recruiting to its team of committed and talented front-of-house staff member. Through provision of excellent customer care and high quality services, we are building our audiences to reflect the communities of Waltham Forest. Your role will be to engage our visitors to One Hoe Street, Vestry House Museum and the William Morris Gallery, and support the activities and events of the borough’s Cultural Programming team. You will be responsible for the safety and security of visitors and the collections on display, including general housekeeping, and will provide high quality front of house services. You will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and experience of working in a busy, fast-paced environment. A flexible ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
The Museum and Gallery Service operates 7 days a week. We are currently looking to recruit 5 new casual staff members to the team, who will be flexible to work across various days/evenings in the week and at weekends. As this role is zero hours there is no guaranteed hours with the role but we operate two very busy sites that have many activities and events occurring that need staffing.
