System Applications Team Leader

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to come and run our systems team within the Revenues and Benefits Department. This is an interesting and varied role which requires an excellent eye for detail and the ability to ensure all tasks are completed and documented fully.

You will have recent, extensive experience of administering the Academy Revenues and Benefits system, as well as experience of using a document management system. You must also possess a high level of MS Office skills, especially Excel.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day integrity of the departments’ systems and will be expected to continuously develop the software systems to improve efficiency. In addition, you will work closely with the Council’s ICT department to assist with the implementation and upgrades of other Council applications that interface with the Academy software.

You will need to a good communicator, possess excellent organisational skills, be able to remain calm when working under pressure or to tight deadlines, have a flexible approach in order to keep up with changing priorities within the department and be committed to providing a high level of technical support.
