An opportunity has arisen to join our small and friendly Legal Services team as an Administration Officer (Lexcel). In this role you will be responsible for working with an external consultant to prepare the team for accreditation to the Law Society’s Lexcel scheme and thereafter monitoring and maintaining compliance. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining information spreadsheets and being a guardian for our case management system, IKEN.
You will need to be confident, enthusiastic and organised with excellent IT skills. You will also be providing support to lawyers e.g. preparing reports, creating and amending documents and answering telephone calls. Other duties include administration work with regards to the borough’s deeds safe, legal library subscriptions and dealing with post.
You will be responsible for opening files for lawyers and the physical retrieval and archiving of such files and deed packets. .
This role requires you to work cooperatively as part of a team to deliver seamless business support and provide an administrative service to the Legal Services team.
This role is based at the Civic Offices in Woking.
