We are currently recruiting for a Partnership Officer To assist in carrying out resident engagement and contract duties
You will be required to liaise with Customer Services, other internal officers/managers and contractors to ensure that appropriate action has been taken in dealing with enquires, complaints and freedom of information requests from members of the public/councilors/MP’s, from receipt to a closure.
To assist in the maintenance and daily work logging on systems and storage of information on shared drives that might be adopted and using data to compile monitoring information and regular reports on contractors’ performance.
Processing orders for services, equipment, payments, invoices, contract payments and journal transfers for services under the remit of the Head of Environmental Services.
Working with the Environmental Services Partnership and Development Manager to ensure the smooth running of all services including daily works and arranging vehicle and equipment maintenance as and when required.
Assisting the services in the development of the Service Delivery Plan in Covalent, plus ongoing support to the team and monitoring to ensure accurate timely quarterly reporting.
Contribute to establishing procurement priorities and assisting with contract letting and development activities.
To act in accordance with the equal opportunities policy and safeguarding policy, and undertake the duties as required by corporate and directorate action plans and support the delivery of Frontline Services including proactive work across the service as required.
The post holder will undertake appropriate Emergency Planning duties as directed by the Council Tactical Officer which can include out of hours work at short notice and be proactive and proficient in the use of social media to promote the council’s priorities, activities and achievements
