Permanent full time post (37 hours)
We are looking for a resilient customer-focused individual to join our Business Support Team. We are a small team responsible for the administration of the Council’s housing repairs service. Duties will include monitoring and processing e-mail, providing administrative support for the service’s fleet vehicles, using appointment scheduling software, processing invoices and working pro-actively with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
The team is required to operate with minimal direction, balancing competing priorities and maintaining accurate records using a variety of software packages.
Effective communication skills are important in this role as there will be a significant amount of contact with customers, operatives and suppliers by telephone, video calling and email.
The role will include a combination of home and office working.
The borough sits centrally between the three cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. Charnwood is easily accessible from the M1 and the high speed rail link between Sheffield and London.
