Property is a key enabler for the Council, and with changing models of service delivery following the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are significant opportunities to help shape the Council’s property estate to ensure high levels of service for our residents and to create a modern estate for the long term. The Property & Delivery division is at the forefront of the work to drive the Council’s recovery from the effects of the pandemic and this role is key to unlocking opportunities.

As a Valuer and  Surveyor in the Housing & CPO team, within the Commercial Estate & Investment property service, you will help deliver a high quality and professional Valuation and Asset Management function, leading specifically on the valuation service for our right to buy disposal work, but more widely on housing disposals, acquisitions, strategic advice and on CPO and housing estate regeneration projects.

About the Role

You will be taking a lead role in the Housing and CPO team, providing technical and professional advice to our Housing Delivery and Housing Services team on valuation, disposal and commercial property matters, supporting the Principal CPO & Housing Surveyor and Director of Commercial Estate & Investment in delivering a best in class and professional asset management service.
