At The Bridge Short Stay School, we don’t believe a student’s past defines their future, we are looking for a child centred individual to support the welfare needs of students who have previously been permanently excluded.

The Bridge caters for students who have struggled in mainstream education; this is a new role, due to increasing numbers in the school. The successful candidate will foster good relationships with all stakeholders: students, parents, staff and external agencies in order to support the safeguarding needs and personal development of students.

Our work at the school is challenging but rewarding, staff have positive relationships with students who have struggled in mainstream schools and change lives on a daily basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is able to see the potential in young people and has a real passion for supporting them. The successful candidate will join a team of committed & like-minded individuals, dedicated to creating a positive future for our young people.

This role is based on our Ellesmere Port Site, but will involve travel to our Northwich site, for home visits and to attend multi-agency meetings.
