INCOME ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Salary NS4 £18,933 - £19,312 per annum (Pay Award Pending)

37 hours per week

We are now recruiting for an Income Accounting Assistant to join our Income Management team. You will participate in all aspects of income accounting administration and will provide advice and guidance to tenants where appropriate.

Working within the policies and procedures set out, you will undertake the administration of rent accounts, the processing of rent refunds, and the calculation / processing of direct debit applications and related tasks. You will also liaise with tenants to make arrangements to clear balances and with external agencies regarding rent and rent payments. As part of your role, it is important that you maintain confidentiality at all times and that you ensure you deliver an effective service fairly and without discrimination.

We are looking for someone who is able to work accurately and to deadlines, is able to prioritise their work and who is able to communicate with people using tact and sensitivity. The successful candidate will also have a high level of numeracy and be committed to providing good customer service. You will also be educated to GCSE, or equivalent, grade C/4 or above in maths and English and will have some previous experience working in an office environment.
