Senior Natural Environment Officer

Competitive salary of between £35,276 and £41,154 per annum (dependent upon experience)

We are currently looking for a qualified Ecologist to join our planning and development team, where you will work within the planning policy team providing advice in relation to new development proposals. ?This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified ecologist to join the Council in shaping its approach to the Environment Bill within a forward thinking, innovative council. You will have a significant role to play in promoting and developing good principles and practice of nature conservation in the local authority and new development across the District.

In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you have the following:  

At least 2-3 years’ experience working as an Ecologist and

Be a Member of CIEEM, or at least eligible for this.
