North Somerset Council is looking for a self-motivated individual with an attention for detail to help us update our ICT asset management register and make better use of our assets.

You will ideally have a good knowledge of IT hardware and software and be able to reconcile lists of equipment and software licences against installation records. You will be expected to make recommendations on how new working practices can realise savings we can make in our IT assets. You will provide a technical liaison role helping our workforce return to the office, ensuring that teams have the right equipment to help them deliver their services, and identify assets that need to be replaced. You will also advise services on how to make better use of the assets they have available.

Whilst your base will be at the Castlewood offices in Clevedon, you can expect to spend a lot of your time working from home.

The role is offered as a six-month fixed term contract.
