We have an exciting Care Leaver Apprenticeship Programme and a real opportunity for someone to get into the world of Youth support work. Working within our Youth Offending Service, we are looking for the right person who has a passion for young people and making a change.
The Youth Offending Service are passionate about the difference their work makes to young people who offend, their families, courts, victims and the community. They aim to achieve positive outcomes for young people and co-operation with voluntary and statutory partners, families and communities in developing services and approaches that will increase the likelihood of success of the programme.
In the role you we are looking for a dependable and passionate apprentice, to help plan and deliver skill enhancing and music making activity-based programmes, providing appropriate interventions in accordance with national Standards, which promotes effective practice, the skills, abilities and self-esteem of the young person.
You will be responsible for face to face work, focused activities, and responsibility for facilitating Music making interventions, involvement in individual and group work with young people subject to pre-court disposals or Statutory Orders.
In the role, you will need to undertake a level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship and successfully complete level 2 qualifications in English and Maths if you don’t already have these.
