An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team at Wyre Council working as a Finance Business Partner.
We are looking to appoint 2 full-time committed and self-motivated finance professionals to support the team in the provision of a comprehensive financial support service to our customers. The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities and will be integral in supporting either the Communities Directorate or Environment Directorate.
You will need to have completed your AAT studies and be able to demonstrate experience in budget setting, monitoring and planning, together with good technical accounting skills. You should have a proven track record of undertaking complex financial analysis and possess the ability to communicate this information in a clear and professional manner.
The successful candidates must be proactive and able to work under their own initiative, as well as contributing to team projects. You will be an ambitious and innovative individual who is focussed on providing good quality financial advice to customers, with excellent communication skills to deal with both finance and non-finance staff.
