Dacorum Borough Council has a requirement for an ICT Service Desk Analyst to work within their Hemel Hempstead offices and sites around the borough of Dacorum, working as part of a busy ICT Team supporting around 650 users.
This is a 1st/2nd line ICT Service Desk role which will require telephone incident taking, 1st line fix and 2nd line investigation/fix skills. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they have worked on an ICT Service Desk, have all-round knowledge of a Microsoft environment and are customer focussed. They must be able to demonstrate good customer care in a related previous role, and the ability to prioritise their workload in what can be a busy and challenging environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex/technical solutions to the customer are vital to this role. If they have no prior Service Desk experience, they must be able to demonstrate an interest in ICT, ability to learn, and excellent customer service experience and communication skills.
Applicants must have a full Driving Licence that is valid in the U.K.
