Duties of the post:

The post holder will take total responsibility for the vehicle, which includes the daily checks before driving the vehicle onto the highway.  

The post holder will ensure all safe working practices are complied with, under the health and safety code of practice.  

Your main tasks include Bulky Household Collections around Adur or Worthing as well as litter picking, sweeping shop fronts, emptying litter bins, collection of bulky items from householders, collection of fly tipping around the area, replacing, fixing and repairing litter bins and the delivery and collection of trade bins to customers within the Adur and Worthing area. 

You will ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed and returned to the office as necessary and that all sites are left in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

During and at the end of each days work you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is taken to the designated disposal point and emptied.
