Fixed term contract of up to 12 months (funded post)


Arun's busy Housing Options Team work to prevent homelessness, sustain tenancies and identify sources of accommodation across all tenures. We are looking for a positive and resilient Assistant Housing Options Officer to join our friendly team in providing a critical front-line service. 

Our clients often present with complex and challenging circumstances and you will need to demonstrate a passion for what you do and for the people who need your help. It is not essential that you have previous experience of working in housing, although it would be an advantage.  You should be able to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate that you can adapt your communication style to the situation you are dealing with.

The role is based at the Civic Centre in Littlehampton, although the majority of employees are still working from home, and we anticipate this role will work a hybrid home/office arrangement.
