Salary £156,000 to £168,000

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, forward looking individual to be our new Chief Executive and to play their part in that ongoing journey of achievement. You will become an advocate for the area and deploy high level leadership, influencing and networking skills to enable the organisation to operate effectively and efficiently in the contemporary environment.

In common with other local authorities, particularly in the North of England, there are challenges to be faced. Over the last decade, the Council has adapted to significant cuts in central government funding. Our new Chief Executive will build upon a trend of creativity, pragmatism and commercial focus to turn challenges into opportunities and to lead decisively.
You will have strong political understanding, the ability to deliver results, and a flair for finding solutions that will add value to the day-to-day lives of Halton’s residents, businesses and visitors.
The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to lead a successful leadership team, and continue to shape the future direction of the Borough, its partnerships and the Liverpool City Region.
