Intermediate Care Assistants

We are looking for kind and caring people who want to make a difference to the lives of people by supporting individuals to remain as independently as possible.

Reablement encourages people, often those who are disabled or frail, or recovering from injury or illness, to develop the confidence and skills required to allow them to continue living at home.

Current hours available are:
21 hours – 7.30am – 1.30pm
19.25 hours – 7.30am – 1.00pm

You would be required to work a 7-day fortnight set shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays however be flexible at times to meet client needs.

About the Role
We provide a short-term flexible service for people in their own home. By working in partnership with our service users, Occupational therapists and Physiotherapists you will support with personal care, medication administration, stair practice, reablement walks.

A driving licence and car is essential for this role due to the need to travel across the Borough. 

We will pay your mileage when travelling around for work.  We will provide successful candidates with Parking Permits in Reading to assist with the role when driving and parking for work.
