Could you be our new Executive Director of Sustainable Growth?

This is both an exciting and challenging time to be joining a progressive and ambitious Council as we see a significant uplift in growth within the county.

This post will provide strategic leadership to our operation and response and is a key member of the council’s Executive Leadership Board. To give some context of the scale of the Growth Challenge: cumulative District and Borough Local Plans across the county provide for over 90,000 new homes, a similar number of new jobs and forecast a 20% increase in traffic up to 2031.

We are looking for a leader who can bring innovation, pace and an engaging style that empowers colleagues to deliver. Working in a political environment, you will be skilled in operating with, central government, a range of stakeholders including, elected members, stakeholders and partners.
