The Finance Manager will report directly to the Academy Business Manager. The purpose of the role is to manage and improve the integrity of the data held within the Schools Financial systems; adding value to all output generated from the systems for review by the Academy Business Manager. 

The Finance Manager will manage the day to day running of the Finance Department which includes the line management of the Finance Officer. 

We adopt a proactive approach to resolving issues for our budget holders and to improve our service across the school whilst consistently communicating processes that are compliant with our internal control’s framework and statutory guidance at all times.  

The Finance Manager will deputize for the Academy Business Manager. The role can be developed further via training for those looking to build a career in Academy Business Management.
