Chef / Cook Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and friendly individual to join our kitchen team at the Community and Wellbeing Centre, Epsom. Along with catering you will lead in the kitchen in the absence of our Cook.

The focus of this role is to assist the Senior Cook with ordering, stock control, preparing, cooking, baking, serving, and clearing after the service.

The ideal candidate will need to have a background in catering, understand the needs food hygiene and risk assessments. You will need be organised, able to work independently and manage your time well to ensure you are able to meet the needs of the centre. You will need to have excellent verbal communication and people skills. Have a drive, passion and a flair for being creative.

You will be expected to deliver a good quality service at mealtimes. You will be core to the daily delivery of our services to our members.
