More about the role:

An opportunity has arisen within the performance team, to provide support for performance management through the provision of high quality, accurate and timely data/insight within Children’s Services.

As a Performance Support Assistant, you will have an inquisitive, analytical mind with strong maths and English skills. This will allow you to assist in intelligence gathering to enable better outcomes through informed decision making, communicate with colleagues/stakeholders and report on funding and service outcomes. Excel skills and some experience of management information systems would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will also need good organisational skills, work well under pressure, deliver to deadlines and use your initiative to problem solve and anticipate situations. You will have excellent inter-personal skills and demonstrate confidence in being able to work effectively with external partner. You will provide assistance for performance management through the provision of high quality, accurate and timely data insight.

The main tasks for the role include:

• Analysis and quality assuring multiple data sets to ensure accurate funding and service outcomes

• Submission of outcome/funding information to Central Government

• Work closely with colleagues across Children’s Services, Schools and other stakeholders to support information gathering and informed decision making.
