The role is extremely varied and will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with the Boroughs town centres businesses. This is a crucial role which will help develop the future strategy for town centres, at a time when the face of town centres are changing and the council invests significantly into regeneration activities.

The role works closely with partners, such as the Welwyn Garden City Business Improvement District, and will identify funding streams available to the council to support with future investment into the town centres or one-off projects and events, to increase footfall and help drive the attractiveness of the town centres.

The ideal candidate will need to be effective at prioritising tasks and set own work load as well as the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
