More Information

Senior Systems Control Officer

At the City of London Corporation, we are passionate about providing local businesses and residents with seamless services, so it is vital that our IT capabilities are up to the job. With an ongoing programme of IT enhancements, we need to deliver smooth transitions – and as our Senior Systems Control Officer, you will be at the heart of that work.

Working closely with System Control Manager to oversee the upgrades of our Business Rates, Council Tax and Information at Work systems, you’ll be assisting with delivery of these vital projects.

Your technical system administration expertise will ensure we are getting things done with minimal fuss. From evaluating the potential impact of these works to troubleshooting once they have been implemented, there is plenty to sink your teeth into.

We are looking for someone with a relevant IT or IRRV Revenues qualification (or equivalent experience) and you will have a knowledge of implementing Capita One enhancements for Business Rates and Council Tax systems. With the ability to identify and resolve faults in a Revenues database environment, you will love providing technical support to operational colleagues – so you will have great communication skills too.

In return, you can look forward to a competitive benefits package, plus excellent career opportunities.

This role required a basic DBS check.
