Head of Change Management
Salary - £73,346 to £81,496 per annum
Contract Type - Permanent. Full Time - 40 hours per week

Our Programme Team is central to delivering this and the Head of Change Management is a new role that is fundamental to driving change across the organisation and ensuring our busy Change Portfolio is people centric and gaining the best value for the organisation.
As Head of Change Management, it's down to you to design and implement a people Change Management Strategy aligned to our existing Change Portfolio that will ensure projects are people focussed and speed of adoption is maximised. You will own the delivery of change management activities in some of our strategic projects. You will be hands on providing change management guidance and advice on specific projects, working closely with the Head of Project Delivery, Head of Business Analysis and our team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to achieve this. In addition, you'll also get involved in initially scoping out business ideas and problems to ensure there is a people focus, working with the business to understand the people impact and agreeing clear change management activities to ensure that we deliver the best possible results for our customers and staff.
We're proud of our maturity around Portfolio, Programme and Project Management and it will fall to you to increase our maturity around change management by training, supporting, coaching and mentoring the Programme Team and wider business to develop our maturity in this area.
This role will be challenging and rewarding. We'll trust you to use your expert knowledge to matrix manage people proficiently, providing expert advice and guidance to the team, and developing a culture of people focussed change. We also need you to look beyond the norm and be creative and challenging in the solutions you propose.
We'll trust you to influence change, utilising your excellent communication and influencing skills to build a strong network of contacts across the organisation. Working with different levels of stakeholders you'll be able to articulate their needs, ensure they are reflected in our plans and negotiate to deliver the best results.
We use the Prosci methodology at NHG so are ideally looking for candidates who are practitioners in this, or with alternative qualifications and experience. We want experienced people with a proven track record of achieving results.
