About the Role:

Wirral Council's Intelligence Service is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Intelligence Manager to join the service. The role takes the lead on social care and health intelligence and works within the Council and across the Wirral Partnership with a focus on adult social care and health and care integration. The post leads on the provision of high quality research and analysis to drive evidence based decision making and commissioning.

About the Candidate:

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • High level analytical and research skills.
  • Experience of developing intelligence to measure and improve outcome delivery.
  • The ability to critically challenge and support management to drive continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in providing insight to drive adult social care commissioning and contract support and optimising outcomes for service users.
  • Specialist skills in the provision of strategic business intelligence such as cost benefit analysis, forecasting, market analysis and demand and capacity modelling.
