An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint an ESOL tutor to deliver a range of programmes funded through Liverpool City Region Adult Education Budget. The role involves working across a number of sites to support the residents of Halton to upskill and develop their English and literacy skills, to ensure they develop the knowledge and qualifications for their journey into Further Education or to progress in employment.
Working under the direction of the Curriculum Manager and the Quality and Learner Experience Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the design and delivery of quality learning programmes, which are both non-accredited and accredited. The key duties include planning, delivery, assessment and monitoring of the learning outcomes and achievements of adult learners participating in the programmes.
We are interested in talking to industry-experienced tutors who are passionate about their subject area with a willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic learning environment. A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required. In return for your commitment, we can offer you:
