Environmental Health Officer or Environmental Protection Officer
Grade 8-9 £28,226 - £34,373 per annum
(A bar will be set at the top of grade 8 until competence in both contaminated land and acoustics is demonstrated)
The position would suit an Environmental Health Officer or an individual with specialist Acoustic or Contaminated Land qualifications.
Reporting to the Environmental Protection & Community Safety manager, you will be responsible for producing all Council Air Quality Reports, Managing contaminated land consultants in respect to planning applications, inspection of Part B permitted premises, providing acoustic support in relation to licensing, planning applications and statutory nuisance noise related cases as well as a wide range of general Environmental Health & Community safety duties in accordance with Statutory and Council policies.
