Night Care Assistant

The Castle Gate is a short break service for disabled children and young people; we provide overnight stays and day care opportunities for up to six young people per day. 

We are looking for a flexible and dynamic person to join our team as part of a rota, which covers 7 days a week. The waking night post covers from 9.15 pm – 7.15 am.

Working as part of a team you will provide personal care, support with medication, nutrition and wellbeing. The services are supported by a Registered and Deputy Manager. We are looking for a motivated and warm applicant to work in a caring and positive way with children.

A NVQ 3/QCF Diploma level 3 or equivalent qualification in Child Care is required for this position. A full induction, supervision and training will be provided.

We are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised above. However, we will consider offering less hours than advertised providing they meet the requirements of the role and service which will be determined by the recruiting manager.
