This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a wider regeneration team, responsible for transforming Aldershot and Farnborough town centres through the delivery of high quality place making residential and mixed-use development projects.
An experienced Development Manager, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical experience of delivering complex and long-term development projects and be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively across the organisation and with development partners. You will ideally have experience across a range of workplace environments, preferably in both the Public and Private sector. You will be commercially focused and able to understand how to balance the different demands of property development in a local government setting.

Whilst initially the main focus of the role is to deliver the exciting Union Yard regeneration project in the centre of Aldershot, over time the post holder will project manage new development schemes from the point of inception through to completion. Union Yard is under construction, transforming Aldershot and comprises 100 residential units for rent, 128 student accommodation flats, commercial units and a ‘makers yard’ with high quality public realm.
You will work with internal and external teams and partners, to ensure that the quality of design and construction, and delivery within agreed timescales and budget is at the forefront of all development activity.
