Social Worker / Experienced Social Worker - Request for Information

We have created two new roles in our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to lead on and process requests for information.  You will also be required to support the MASH to safeguard vulnerable children and support them to achieve their full potential, living within their family if safe to do so.

In return for your commitment, we are proud to offer an excellent benefits package including a market supplement of £2,000 per annum for Social Workers and £2500 per annum for Experienced Social Workers, as well as a retention payment of £3000 per annum (paid in April, following 1 years’ continuous service with Medway).

This is a perfect opportunity for an established social worker to flourish in a local council and we’re keen to develop your skills to the fullest. If you’re ambitious and looking for your next career step, we offer an accessible and supportive pathway into management roles as well as extensive training and development opportunities.

About you

You will hold a degree in Social Work, be registered with Social Work England and have completed your ASYE.
