25 Hours Per Week - Art & Technology Technician
10 Hours Per Week - Performing Arts Technician
Term time only
Kendrick School is a very successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in the centre of Reading.
We are looking for 2 dynamic and effective Technicians to join the Art, Technology and Performing Arts departments as soon as possible.
There are 2 roles available or one role if you would like to work 35 hours a week. The core hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.15pm.
The Technicians will be practical, resourceful and provide helpful support to the Art, Technology and Performing Arts Departments and students working in these areas.
Previous experience in a Technician role is not a requirement, however the successful applicants will be interested in working in a creative environment and welcome becoming part of an experienced team dedicated to the creative education of young people.
A background in art, technology and/or performing arts would be highly desirable.
The successful candidates will enjoy working as part of a team and in a school community and should be capable of working with the minimum of supervision.
The roles are varied and we recognise that no candidate is likely to have experience in the full range of technical tasks they involve. Full training will be given.
Kendrick School is a welcoming, inclusive and happy community, with students who are engaging, cooperative and eager to learn. Benefits include free car parking, a contributory pension scheme, training and development and use of the swimming pool and sporting facilities.
