Hours: 37 per week (term time/flexible working may be considered)

Job Duties:

This role will provide support to the Secondary and Post 16 phases of the Virtual School; responsible for data maintenance, administrative tasks for interventions and provide professional support to other team and Virtual School colleagues.

We are looking for a dynamic and professional new team member to match the pace of our busy office and busy (virtual) school environment.

The Hertfordshire Virtual School is not a teaching institution but a way of bringing together the information about children and young people who are looked after as if they were in a single school; ensuring that children and young people have the best possible education and every chance to realise their potential.

The role is within the Data and Support Team which provides administrative and technical support to Virtual School colleagues and a wide variety of stakeholders.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • have a good work ethic, are team players and have a can-do attitude
  • have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • can work under pressure, with competing deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • are competent and confident using Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel
  • are curious and eager to learn new skills

Although not essential, this role would suit individuals with knowledge of working in a school environment.

In return we can offer you excellent pension and progression benefits whilst working for an organisation that values its employees and invests in training and career development opportunities.
