The children, parents, staff and governors of Little Leigh Primary School are seeking to appoint a KS1 teacher to join our team in November. This is a temporary position to cover a period of maternity leave.
We are seeking to appoint an effective, enthusiastic and motivated classroom practitioner who has had experience of teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be an ‘expert’ in the field of phonics. They will need to be able to provide a creative learning environment and demonstrate strategies to actively engage and challenge all children.
