Nursery Teaching Assistant

32.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 3.30pm (with 30 minute lunch break) • Term time only

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our committed and pro-active team who can bring excellent childcare skills and innovation to our Nursery. Duties will include assisting the Nursery team in providing high quality childcare, providing inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating Birth to Five Matters and maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment.  You will need to work in close partnership with parents and liaise with them on a daily basis.

St. Luke’s Nursery offers high quality early education and care within the heart of St. Luke’s Church of England School and is open to children from 3 to 4 years.

Successful candidates will:

  • be a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent
  • have a solid understanding of Early Years and Birth to Five Matters
  • be passionate and have a positive attitude towards working with children
  • have excellent communication skills.
