An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Adult Safeguarding Team within Sefton Council. This full-time post is permanent and requires urgent appointment .

Job requirements:

We are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced social worker to join our busy Safeguarding Adults Team. We require the successful candidate to have the skills, knowledge, and expertise to enable robust decision and case management of section 42 enquiries.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for safeguarding with a robust approach to case work, including a creative flair around assessment and risk management. An understanding of multi- agency working is essential in achieving positive outcomes for those at risk of harm.    their respective roles within Section 42 safeguarding enquiries is essential.  The successful appointee will also have excellent report writing skills and the ability to complete and close enquiry work within tight time scales.

This is a highly motivated team that shares knowledge and skills and is further strengthened by its management team who provide direct advice and support for staff via informal and planned supervision including a commitment top ongoing professional development.
