About the role

At Cityclean we really value our drivers, recognising them as key to delivering the front-line service to our residents, creating that great first impression of us.

We are looking for safe and considerate drivers who work well in a team and can be flexible, friendly, and organised. If you are newly qualified, we can provide you with the experience to develop your skills and career.

You will work within the City Clean service driving or operating a range of vehicles including Jet wash units and mechanical sweepers that will assist you in providing high standards of cleanliness in across the city.

We have several vacancies requiring either B or C1 category licences.

We offer different shift patterns depending on the area of the city you will be working in. They are:

05.00 to 13.00

06.00 to 14.00

 

Central AM shift x 2 (C1 Driving License)

Rolling Rota, 5 am – 1 pm

Scale 5 £23,023 – £24,920+ 1hour contracted overtime +  Weekend Enhancements + 1 Night Hour per day.

East AM shift x 1 (C1 Driving License)

Monday to Friday, 5 am – 2 pm

Scale 5 £23,023 – £24,920 + 1hour contracted overtime

 

West AM shift x 1 (B Driving License)

Monday to Friday, 6 am – 2 pm

Scale 5 £23,023 – £24,920 + 1hour contracted overtime

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
