Adur and Worthing Legal Services is a joint legal service providing advice to both Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council.
We have a brilliant opportunity for a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive to join our South Coast Councils as a key member of our Litigation and Regulatory team. The team deals with a wide variety of areas and the preferred candidate will ideally have experience in two of the following areas of law: planning, licensing, housing, employment, debt collection, criminal and civil litigation.
This is an exciting and varied role in a supportive and friendly team. You will report to the Senior Lawyer and Deputy Monitoring Officer and assist the team dealing with general litigation matters, researching and analysing legislation, providing innovative, proactive and enabling advice to Officers and Members of both the Councils.
We are looking for a positive, driven and innovative professional with excellent analytical and research skills, who is a good team player, self-motivated and has the ability to give clear, accurate and practical legal advice.
