Mid Sussex have an exciting opportunity available for an individual looking to develop a career within Local Authority parks and landscapes management as a Landscapes Contracts Monitoring Officer. The successful candidate will quickly learn skills and develop knowledge to play a vital role in managing and monitoring the council’s landscape contract to ensure maintenance and development of our high-quality Parks, Sports Grounds, and Open Spaces in this attractive part of West Sussex
Salary from £26,974 pa to £29,174 pa subject to experience + Car allowance up to £1,239 pa
To be successful in the role, we’ll expect you to be a confident and motivated self starter with an appetite for learning. To keep on top of the council’s landscape contracts you’ll also need to be organised and able to work both independently and as part of a small but active team. You’ll also be a key point of contact for our contractors and customers so you’ll need excellent communication and negotiation skills and experience of working in a contract monitoring capacity.
