This role is term time for 20 hours a week which we foresee being based around 5 hours a day 4 days a week but we are happy to be reasonably flexible around how these hours are worked. Please note this role is also hybrid working.
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Front Door for a Specialist Business Support Officer (Term Time Only).
You will deliver comprehensive administration support across the service, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed to a high standard.
You will work collectively with colleagues at the Integrated Front Door and across Children's Services and partner agencies to ensure that Children's Services is making Wirral great for children, young people and their families and promote an ethos of a high level of customer service to all key stakeholders, partners and clients. Provide efficient administrative support and be responsible for, in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, the administration of financial reporting, collation of information and communications in support of the delivery of statutory requirements across the service.
About the candidate
You will need a good track record of IT and communications skills (including keyboard skills) and be competent in relevant Microsoft packages. The ability to converse effectively orally and in writing with colleagues, agencies and members of the public and provide clear advice is very important to this role. Good time management and the ability to prioritise the workload to meet the demands of the service and possess the ability to work independently is crucial to this role.
In addition to sending invites to meetings, collating information and inputting into agendas and associated documents, you will deliver high quality minute taking , circulating minutes ensuring that they are completed and distributed in line with relevant policies and procedures.
