Safeguarding Adults Board Business Manager

The North Somerset Safeguarding Adults Board has a fantastic opening, we are recruiting to the Business Manager post. The role offers the opportunity to work with the newly appointed experienced and well-respected Independent Chair.

 

The board has welcomed new enthusiasm and drive to ensure safeguarding work remains a priority. There are many changes on the horizon for Health and Social Care, there is a critical role for the board to ensure that safeguarding remains high profile.

 

We are an ambitious multi-agency board. The business manager role is pivotal in ensuring the board is operating to the best of its ability, making sure the work regarding safeguarding adults in North Somerset is of a high standard. Making sure impact of our partnership working is evidenced in the safeguarding activity.

 

We are looking for a passionate, organised, communicator who can support the board achieve its strategic priorities. The postholder will work closely with the Independent Chair, the key partner strategic safeguarding leads (Health, Social Care and Police) and the chairs of the executive groups.

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with demonstrable skills which will enable effective partnership working and of setting, and delivering, clear priorities and standards within a business planning framework.

 

The successful candidate will be confident working with officers at all levels on strategic priorities. They will be able to produce written reports to a high standard.
