Bereavement Service Assistant

Are you a team player?  Do you have a kind and empathic nature?  We have a great opportunity to join the Bereavement Service Team at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium, which is owned and operated by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

We are looking for someone to be part of our dedicated and caring team providing the highest level of customer service to bereaved families, visitors and stakeholders.  The Council currently provides services and facilities for some 2,000 cremation services each year as well as 50 burials.

The position is based in the office at the entrance to the of the Crematorium .  You will need to possess kind and caring customer service and inter-personal skills and be able to demonstrate excellent experience of office administration, ideally in a similar service environment or customer focused role.  This is a fast paced environment and you will need to be able to remain calm under pressure. As well as being proficient with Microsoft Office, you will need to possess a flexible and organised approach to the role.

Your working hours will be between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week).
