SALARY GRADE NS5 - £20,043 - £20,444 per annum

Our Waste and Transport Team are seeking Relief Waste Operatives.

This role includes the loading of domestic refuse collection vehicles, litter picking, fly tip collection and litterbin emptying throughout the district.

The positions will entail working unsociable hours in all weathers. You should be physically fit, with the ability to work alone and unsupervised. Full training, uniform and PPE will be provided. Experience in working in a similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

The position requires a full driving licence. The post is based at the Council’s Brunel Drive Depot in Newark.

Working past the usual finish time is sometimes required where there is a need in order to provide a full service to residents.

As this is a relief post, no working hours are guaranteed, work with be on an, as and when basis.
