About the role:

Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for an experienced and motivated Experienced Social Worker to join their Integrated Front Door/MASH service. Wirral Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is a co-located team which brings together agencies and their information, to identify risks to and needs of children at the earliest possible point and respond with the most effective and joined up actions.

The purpose of MASH is to make the right decisions for the right families at the right time. This in turn will ensure timely and necessary actions to improve the outcomes for vulnerable children.

About the candidate:

You should have a track record of success in children's social care. You will be used to working collaboratively with other agencies, using information effectively to understand children's experiences, and have good levels of experience in providing quality support to team members. You will be provided with development opportunities and strong peer and management support to help ensure your success in this role. The Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required
