27.5 hours per week (9.00-3.00pm), term time only

(Required as soon as possible, temporary until 20th July 2023 in the first instance, subject to funding)

TEACHING ASSISTANT (Maternity Cover)

27.5 hours per week (9.00-3.00pm), term time only

Required as soon as possible, temporary to cover maternity leave until 6th June 2023 (or until the postholder returns from maternity leave)

Grade C/Grade D (depending on experience)

Grade C SCP 3-4, £18,887 - £19,264 plus SEN Allowance £1,347 pro rata

(Actual salary: £11,930 - £12,168 plus SEN allowance £850)

Grade D SCP 5-6, £19,650 - £20,043 plus SEN Allowance £1,347 pro rata

(Actual salary: £12,412 - £12,660 plus SEN allowance £850)

We are seeking teaching assistants to join a successful and established Inclusion Faculty.  The postholders will work with individuals and small groups who have specific educational needs.  Experience with secondary pupils preferred but not essential as training will be provided. 

Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent is essential. 

We have very high expectations of all staff and for the right person this is a superb opportunity to develop skills through bespoke CPD provision and opportunities. You will be working in a modern, well-resourced, supportive environment, which has excellent facilities.

Following our recent Ofsted inspection in July, we excitedly await the report which will be published in September 2022.  We look forward to sharing it.
