We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about teaching boys PE. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective strategies for raising attainment in PE to secure the best possible outcomes for students.

“Person fit” is essential to our thriving, driven team of middle leaders, hence the opportunity for the appointment brief to best fit your skills and experience.

The successful applicant will be a strong team player committed to the Academy’s vision “A community that believes in top class teaching and a pastoral care system that is second to none ensures that we prepare our young people for a bright and optimistic future, filled with opportunity”.

We have very high expectations of all staff and for the right person this is a superb opportunity to further develop leadership skills through bespoke CPD provision across the trust. You will be working in a modern, well-resourced, supportive environment, which has excellent facilities.

Following our recent Ofsted inspection in July, we excitedly await the report which will be published in September 2022.  We look forward to sharing it.

Kirkby High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and adheres to the Equality Act 2010.
