Teaching Assistant required to work with a child with SEND
Required from Monday 10^th October 2022
Temporary contract until July 2023
Salary Scale 3 (scale point 5 - 6) £23,838 - £24,270 pro rata
32.5 hours per week Monday - Friday (39 weeks per year)
8.50 am - 3.50 pm (with a 30 minute lunch break)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable individual to join our team of teaching assistants.
The successful applicant will primarily work with a Reception pupil with SEND. You will also support other pupils with their learning and development under the direction of the SENCo and class teacher. This role includes the administration of medication and personal care including changing nappies, where necessary, in accordance with training provided.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, relate well to children, be self-motivated and have a calm, professional manner. Experience with children with SEND is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS); as well as reference checks.
