Public Protection Partnership PPP is a shared environmental heath, licensing and trading standards service for Bracknell Forest and West Berkshire in Berkshire.
We are looking to recruit an Environmental Health Practitioner to work in our Compliance and Programme team, this team is responsible for food hygiene, health and safety and Infectious Disease Control within the Boroughs. Environmental Health Officers in the team are required to meet the Food Standard Agency’s Code of Practice ‘competency framework’ requirements for inspections of food premises.
The work and structure of PPP is based on the National Intelligence Model and we operate under a number of multidisciplinary functional areas to achieve the approved priorities. This means there are plenty of exciting opportunities to experience a wide range of cases and projects. In addition there is the variety of work that comes with operating across 2 Boroughs.

You must hold the Diploma or BSc/MSc in Environmental Health and be registered as an EHO/P with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).
The post offers a free working environment across the PPP areas and will be based in Theale, West Berkshire (although we can offer some flexibility in this).
